About Eggfruit
Salad
One afternoon, I was looking for a fun way to use up the
fresh eggfruit I had in my kitchen. The idea of a fruit salad popped into my
mind, but I didn’t want to go with the usual mix. I had an assortment of fruits
like—banana and papaya—but I wanted to make something more exciting than just a
regular fruit salad. The result was a burst of sweetness with a refreshing
twist, making the salad feel light and energizing. I’m so glad I took the time
to experiment and make it uniquely mine.

Tips
Choose fruits that are in
season to pair with eggfruit for the best flavor. Seasonal fruits are typically
fresher, tastier and healthier, enhancing the overall taste of the fruit salad.
Let the fruit salad chill in
the fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving. This allows the flavors to
meld together, enhancing the texture and creating a more refreshing, flavorful
salad.
Gently toss the fruits in the
fruit salad to avoid mashing or bruising the fruits.
If serving a group, create a
salad bar with a variety of fruits, seeds, nuts, and toppings like yogurt,
granola, and coconut flakes, giving guests the freedom to customize their own
fruit salad.
Instead of ice cream, you can
create a light dressing made from yogurt, honey, and a hint of lime juice for a
refreshing twist.
