Recipe Step-by-Step

Place the Chicken Soup Bones in a large cooking pot.

Add cold water to the pot, covering the chicken soup bones by about 1 inch, ensuring they are fully submerged.

Bring the water and chicken bones to a boil.

As the stock heats, you may see foam or scum forming on the surface. This is completely normal—simply skim it off with a spoon.

Once the stock reaches a boil, reduce the heat to low and let it simmer gently for 25-30 minutes. Check the water level occasionally and add more water if it reduces too much.

Skim off any foam or scum that forms on the surface of the pot and
discard it.
