Cold Coffee at Home [Large Mug]
COLD COFFEE
About Cold Coffee
I came up
with my cold coffee recipe on a hot summer day when I was craving something
cold and refreshing. The heat kept me from wanting to step outside, and the
idea of ordering one online seemed like an unnecessary expense. So, I decided
to take matters into my own hands and make it at home using ingredients I
already had. What followed was a little experimentation, and I ended up making
a large glass of this delicious homemade cold coffee all for myself—and that’s
how it came to life!

Tips
I have used a large beer mug to make my cold coffee, but you
can use any mug you have at home.
Cold coffee can sometimes be milder in taste, so using a
stronger brew or adding extra strong instant coffee will help maintain a robust
flavor.
Beforehand, freeze leftover coffee in an ice cube tray and
use these coffee cubes instead of regular ice cubes to keep your drink
flavorful.
Experiment with flavors like vanilla, cinnamon, chocolate
syrup, caramel, hazelnut, or mocha for a fun twist.
Instead of ice cream, top your cold coffee with whipped cream
for a creamy texture and a rich, luxurious finish.
For those who are dairy-free, lactose intolerant, or vegan,
try using almond milk, oat milk, coconut milk or cashew milk instead of dairy
milk and the same for ice cream too for a unique flavor profile.
If you prefer a creamier texture, reduce the amount of ice. If you want it colder and more refreshing, add more ice cubes.
For a healthier alternative, replace sugar with natural
sweeteners like honey, maple syrup, stevia, erythritol or coconut sugar.
